We're back!

We had a fantastic time in Seattle last week! The kids and I caravaned with my sister and her fam. back to her house two Fridays ago, and stayed the week. Kyle flew in Thursday morning and we spent time sight seeing and hanging out (playing Settlers of Catan and watching the Office). We drove back Sunday night/Monday. It was great! We visited Tillicum Village, went on a Duck tour, ate on the pier, went to Pike's Place, Ballard Locks, and had a romantic double date canoeing at sunset in Lake Washington! The kids had a blast playing with their cousins and CUTTING THEIR HAIR (yes it was hilarious and awful all at the same time). Pictures are soon to come, when I get more than 2 seconds to sit down and load them all up (luckily it isn't THAT noticable). It's amazing how much work a vacation creates for me while I'm away. I'm also organizing all the great stuff I've gotten from my parents since they're moving to Oklahoma City in a week(crazy huh?). Last but not least my amazing husband worked his tail off while he was home without us and on top of putting in 10 hour days at work in the heat, he painted our master bedroom and bathroom, rearranged the furniture, replaced our bathroom light fixture, stained the cabinet/vanity thingy, redecorated, and installed a light (with a dimmer switch) over the tub/shower (my favorite part)! He's a stud! Maybe I'll slip in some pics of my new great rooms if I find the time.

Good Heavens- how did Kyle find the time to do all that?!? What a stud. And your folks are MOVING?? Has this been in the works for awhile, or has it been pretty sudden? What the scrud is in Oklahoma City? And please, post on the haircuts. What naughty little girls! I would actually love to come and hug your Mom before she leaves. Is she around during the days??

My parents moving happened very quickly and they leave tomorrow (Thurs. 8-7). NOTHING is in Oklahoma City--except that it has an AF base and my Dad works for a defense contrator. Pretty crazy. They'll be back in UT in about 8 years when he retires.

I am probably the happiest that you are back! No one showed up for choir practice the first week. I am really sorry. I did try to hold it. Everything just falls apart without you! You are needed so much! I'm glad you guys had so much fun. I would love to go there some day.
